lok sabha elections 2024 arvind kejriwal on aam aadmi party congress alliance in delhi | Will there not be an alliance between AAP and Congress in Delhi? Arvind Kejriwal said amidst suspense

Aam Aadmi Party-Congress Alliance: Congress and Samajwadi Party have formed an alliance in Uttar Pradesh for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Meanwhile, there is doubt in Delhi regarding the alliance between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Wednesday (February 21), an alliance should have already been formed between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

One seat was offered to Congress

According to the ANI report, regarding the alliance with Congress, he said, “Let’s see what happens in the next 2-3 days. This should have been done earlier, now it is too late.” Earlier, Aam Aadmi Party had offered only one seat to Congress in Delhi for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Party general secretary Sandeep Pathak had said that Congress does not deserve a single seat in the capital as per its performance.

Sandeep Pathak had said, “Congress does not have a single Lok Sabha seat in Delhi, it has zero seats in the Delhi Assembly. In the 2022 MCD elections, Congress had won only nine seats out of 250 wards. According to the data, the Congress party is not entitled to a single seat, but the data alone is not important. “As per the alliance’s religion and as a matter of respect, we are ready to give one seat to the Congress.”

Both parties will contest elections separately in Punjab

Of the years 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha ElectionsIn these, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had won all the seven seats of Delhi. Earlier Aam Aadmi Party leader and Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Maan Had refused to form alliance with Congress in Punjab. Earlier, CM Arvind Kejriwal had said that Congress and Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab have decided to contest elections separately with mutual consent.
